ESTIMATES:
- Estimates are not contracts and do not guarantee a position on our schedule.
- Drawings are not to scale.
- Standard estimate: one free standard estimate either verbal or an onsite inspection within our installation area and either a verbal or emailed price. Any additional estimates whether verbal, written or onsite will incur a fee payable before receipt of the estimate and determined by PFC.
- Insurance/detailed estimates: Insurance/detailed estimates are $100 each payable to PFC prior to receipt of the estimate and/or the onsite inspection within our installation area. Includes one written estimate either by email or PDF. Revisions to the written estimate are $30 per occurrence, payable before receipt of the revised written estimate.
- Prices on estimates and/or unsigned contracts are subject to change without notice.
- PFC’s standard minimum is $750.00 plus cost of material and any applicable taxes.
- Decreases in units results in an INCREASE in per unit price.
- Union/State/Prevailing wages not included.
- No tax on capital improvements.
- Customer is responsible for notifying PFC of any errors in this agreement within 48 hours of signing.
- Please inform us of any misprints PRIOR to signing.
- Drawings are not to scale.
- Contracts with no deposit (unless otherwise agreed upon) are NOT valid.
- PRICES ONLY VALID IF ENTIRE JOB DONE TOGETHER.
- Prices are subject to change after two (2) months for signed contracts with deposits.
- The undersigned gives PFC the authority to remove material (we may cut posts at ground level and leave stubs and concrete in the ground) from site if payment is not made upon completion as agreed upon, and forfeits a 40% fee of the total to PFC if this occurs.
- This contract cannot be changed unless both parties* agree to all changes.
- One (1) revision is complementary. Additional revisions will incur additional fees. Previous contract void, unless otherwise specified.
- Payment in full constitutes complete satisfaction.
- At any and every point in time, PFC reserves the right to choose with whom it conducts business with.
- Customer has read this entire contract and has 48 hours from when PFC receives it to CANCEL.
- Deposits are NOT refundable especially if manufacturing and/or ordering of material has begun.
- Customer is responsible for material, labor and storage costs (costs determined by PFC) if customer chooses to cancel or delay the contract.
- Contract with total less than $750 requires payment in full as deposit.
- Specialty items will require a larger deposit.
- All balances past due are subject to 1.5% per month carrying charges and fees compounded daily, plus $40.00 late pay fee each occasion. $50.00 return check fee.
- WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY CREDIT/DEBIT OR GIFT CARDS. ALL PAYMENTS ARE PAYABLE ONLY BY CASH, CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR BANK CHECK.
- Storage fees: starts at $40 per day and increases with volume. Fees begin one (1) week after PFC notifies customer.
- PFC is not responsible for any fines/fees etc resulting from violations etc.
- Shortened panels/sections will be charged the full section length price.
- Jobs that require ordering material may have freight charges and/or surcharges due to quantities.
- Changing location of holes already dug, poles and/or sections or gates, etc already installed results in an additional fee.
- Changes to quantities, style, layout, etc, once manufacturing has begun will incur extra fees.
- No partial payments.
- Placement on PFC schedule occurs only when PFC receives a valid signed contract with deposit.
- Schedule is typically determined by the order of received contracts.
- PFC’s schedule is affected by weather, delays in jobs signed prior, employee illness/ emergencies, product availability, customer availability/ readiness, any/all circumstances beyond the control of PFC.
- Customer responsible for contacting PFC for approximate schedule updates.
- Custom fences may result in a longer wait period.
- Permits: Customer is responsible for applying and acquiring permits and paying all necessary fees and adhering to all codes.
- Customer is responsible for any fines/fees and agrees to compensate PFC if any should occur.
- Contract: Customer must confirm receipt of contract/deposit.
- Underground obstructions: Customer has the authority and is responsible for indicating or having someone indicate the exact location of any and all above ground and underground obstructions prior to commencement of installation as PFC is not responsible for any damages.
- Customer is responsible for indicating fence and property line locations. PFC is not responsible for any resulting issues, discrepancies, disputes etc. with property lines.
- Clearing fence line: customer must clear a large enough area for installation (ask PFC for further details).
- Customer is responsible to fill gaps between the ground and the bottom of the fence. Arrangements must be made PRIOR to installation, especially for fences intended to contain dogs.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain what is installed by PFC.
- Customer is responsible for informing PFC of any and all applicable codes in their municipality.
- PFC has a standard installation technique, please ask about this.
- Example: Fences can NOT follow all terrain- this may result in gaps under the fence
- Good side of fence will face away from customer and rails will face in towards customer.
- PFC has standard manufacturing techniques, please ask about this.
- Fence material is not meant to be used as porch/deck or stairway railing and may not pass code.
- Wood fences typically have mill-run full 4”x4” posts, mill-run pickets (before planing), back rails are mill-run nominal 2"x3" or 2"x4", unless otherwise specified.
- Nails are hot-dipped galvanized, ring shank.
- Custom wood styles are made from untreated natural eastern white cedar wood, unless otherwise specified. Wood material has imperfections such as knots, bark, stress cracks, bows, bends etc.
- Cuts, notches, routers, mortises, etc vary in size, shape and location and are not identical.
- Rustic (West Virginia) split rail (post and rail), is NOT made of cedar and cannot be installed to look smooth and square. The material is rough hewn and disproportion.
- Dismantling older fences may snap extra posts and incur extra fees.
- No Warranty on repairs.
- PFC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ERRORS, OMISSIONS AND/OR CUSTOMER CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS. PFC CANNOT PROCESS YOUR ORDER WITHOUT A SIGNED CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT.

- Do-it-yourself payments by CHECK require valid ID verification showing a valid address.
- Certain items, including custom items, are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Items that are returned must be inspected by a PFC representative before a refund is issued.
- No refund of delivery charges.
- Delivery fee will be charged for picking up returned items.
- Standard delivery fees based on ROUND TRIP mileage: $50 for 0-10 miles, $75 for 11-25 miles, $100 for 25-35 miles. Ask about further rates for unloading. Tolls are additional.
- Delivery will not be made unless customer is present to receive material and remit payment in full.
- PFC is NOT responsible for installation
- Balances are due before delivery or pickup.
- Installation is guaranteed for one year from date of installation against faulty workmanship, under normal conditions.
- No warranty on material not supplied by PFC.
- No warranty on repairs.
- No warranty on Do-it-Yourself and/or material sales.
- Warranty is void if contract is not paid in full. No warranty claims unless paid in full.
